Granite is an igneous stone mainly formed through
volcanic material, magma, which cooled and solidified underneath the
earth's surface. It is by far the hardest of all natural stones, which
makes it the perfect choice for kitchens and baths.
Travertine and Limestone come from organic elements
such as glaciers, rivers, wind, oceans and plants bonded through millions
of years of heat and pressure. Marble is a metamorphic stone that
changed when limestone softened from heat & pressure and recrystallized.
Natural Slate is a fine-grained metamorphic stone
formed from clay, sedimentary rock shale and sometimes quartz. Natural
clefting, occasional fossils, and a range of color make slate a rustic
yet refined choice in decor.
